Thoughts on this: This twist in crafting makes the crafting feature unique as well. Personally, I feel like, inventory wise, this could actually be a space saver since I could just put the needed materials by each other somewhere on the island and drag my tools to craft them. Also, be sure to check your Diary once in awhile because it gives you some nice tips.
I was pleasantly surprised with this game. I did not expect the game to be this well made since its still in alpha stage. Even though I spent most of my time trying to figure out how to do anything, once I knew what to do, I was able to fully immerse myself in the game. I loved exploring the islands because after coming across the cave, I was excited to explore what other scenery/biomes the game had as well as watching the day/sunset/night/sunrise cycle and weather changes in the game.
Combo that with the piano piece playing in the background, and everything tied in beautifully. I also really liked the fact that my actions had physical consequences such as the open wound and sore foot statuses, it made the game more realistic to me. I foresee great things to come in this game because it seems like, as much as they can, they tried to make things unique or stand out from other games, not just aesthetically but in features as well; like the building and crafting in the game. I really admire what the developers are trying to do with the game. At the current stage however, if you are new to the game, learning how to do things might be frustrating for others.
